Your Privacy at Vaidora

1. Who We Are

Vaidora Health Tech ("Vaidora", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website vaidora.in and provides Ayurvedic health consultations via WhatsApp. Our registered contact is vaidora@vaidora.in.

This policy explains exactly what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can control or delete it.

2. Data We Collect and Why

We collect only what is necessary to provide your consultation. Here is a precise breakdown:

3. How Your Data Is Shared

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads targeting you based on health data. Your data is shared only in these specific cases:

  • Your assigned Vaidora doctor: receives your consultation form data to diagnose and plan your treatment. Doctors are contractually bound to doctor-patient confidentiality.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): messages sent via WhatsApp are subject to Meta's own privacy policy. We use WhatsApp only for consultation delivery and follow-up — not for marketing.
  • Payment processors: if you pay via UPI or a payment link, that processor receives only the transaction amount and a reference ID — not your health data.
  • Legal requirements: if a court order, police request, or Indian law requires us to disclose data, we will comply and notify you unless prohibited by law.

We never share your health data with insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, or advertising networks.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Data

  • Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). No health data is stored in plain text.
  • WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted by Meta. Vaidora does not store chat transcripts on external servers.
  • Doctor access is restricted — only the doctor assigned to your case can view your data. Credentials are individually managed and renewed regularly.
  • We do not use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics) that track health-related behaviour across the web.

6. Your Rights

Under Indian IT laws and global best practices, you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to fix incorrect data (e.g. wrong phone number or health details).
  • Deletion: request that we permanently delete your case file, consultation history, and personal data. We will do this within 14 business days. Note: payment records must be retained for 7 years under GST law.
  • Withdrawal of consent: stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time by sending "STOP" to our number or emailing us.
  • Data portability: receive your data in a readable format (PDF or CSV) within 10 business days of request.

7. Children's Data

Vaidora's service is intended for individuals aged 12 and above. For users between 12–17 years of age, a parent or guardian must accompany and consent to the consultation. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 12. If a parent or guardian believes their child (under 12) has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately at vaidora@vaidora.in and we will delete it within 48 hours.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will post the updated policy here with a new "Last Updated" date and, if the change is significant, notify active patients via WhatsApp at least 7 days in advance.

Continued use of our service after a policy update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
