Before you book from the UK

Our doctors are BAMS-qualified and registered as Ayurvedic practitioners in India. They are not registered with the General Medical Council, and Vaidora is not a UK health-care provider or regulated by the Care Quality Commission. A consultation is Ayurvedic wellness guidance — diet, routine and lifestyle — to use alongside your own doctor, not instead of them. Please don't stop any prescribed medicine, and for anything urgent call 999.

Time zones

The time difference with India

India runs on one time zone (IST, UTC+5:30) and does not change its clocks. Tell us the days and times that suit you and we confirm a slot in your own time zone.

  • London

India is 4½ hours ahead during daylight saving, and 5½ hours ahead the rest of the year.

7:00 pm in India = 2:30 pm (1:30 pm outside daylight saving)

Built around where you live

Ayurveda around British weather and routines

Cold, damp winters, central heating, long commutes and short winter days all shape digestion, skin and sleep. Your doctor asks about them and builds a plan around the food you can buy in the UK.

How a consultation from the UK works

  1. 01

    Message us

Tell us what's going on and which days and times suit you. We confirm a slot in your time zone and share how to pay in GBP.

  2. 02

    Video consultation

A private 30-minute Google Meet call. Your doctor goes through your symptoms, history, diet, sleep and any medicines.

  3. 03

    Your written plan

Diet and routine guidance sent on WhatsApp after the call, with follow-up questions answered there too.

If your doctor suggests an herbal product

In the UK, look for the Traditional Herbal Registration (THR) mark from the MHRA on herbal medicines, and buy from a pharmacy or reputable retailer. Check any product with your GP or pharmacist before taking it.

You are never obliged to buy anything. We do not ship medicines outside India, and we don't sell proprietary kits.

Questions from the UK

Are your doctors licensed in the UK?

No. Our doctors hold BAMS degrees and are registered as Ayurvedic practitioners in India. They are not licensed to practise medicine in the UK, so a consultation is Ayurvedic wellness guidance — diet, routine and lifestyle — to use alongside care from your GP, not instead of it.

What does a consultation cost?

£3.50 for a 30-minute first video consultation. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. You pay once a time has been agreed with you.

Should I tell my GP?

Yes, please. Keep your GP informed about any herbal products you take, and keep taking anything they have prescribed unless they tell you otherwise.

What times are available?

We offer morning and evening slots in UK time. Tell us what suits you when you book, and you'll receive a Google Meet link.

What is the time difference with India?

London: India is 4½ hours ahead during daylight saving, and 5½ hours ahead the rest of the year. Tell us what suits you and we confirm a time in your zone.

Consultations are online, so they work the same wherever you are — London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol, Edinburgh or anywhere else in the UK.
