Online Ayurvedic consultation for fatty liver

Fatty liver is often found by chance on a scan or blood test. Diet, weight, activity and alcohol matter a great deal, and an Ayurvedic doctor can help you build a plan around them — alongside follow-up with your own doctor.

How Ayurveda looks at it

In Ayurveda the liver (Yakrit) is linked to Pitta and to fat metabolism (Meda dhatu). Your doctor looks at your diet, digestion and constitution to decide what to change first.

Food matters in every Ayurvedic plan. See the kapha diet chart.

Common questions

Can fatty liver improve?

Early fatty liver often improves with weight loss, diet changes, more activity and less alcohol — that is well established. Our doctors help you make and keep those changes. Progress should be checked with repeat tests arranged by your own doctor.

Are herbal medicines safe for the liver?

Not all of them — some herbs and supplements can harm the liver. That is exactly why nothing should be taken without a doctor who knows your reports and your other medicines.

Do I need liver flushes or a detox?

No. We don't recommend flushes or extreme detox regimes; they can be unsafe.
